Moving to Peru
Moving and being new in school: I have lived in Peru only about a year and a couple of months. When I first heard that I was moving, I was completely devastated. I lived in Panama for over 10 years before coming to Peru; it was incredibly hard to get used to the new city and new school. Eventually, I was able to fit in and make a group of friends.
Starting Innovation academy
When I first heard of the Innovation Academy, I had no idea what it was of course. Then my parents took me to a presentation of sorts where we were explained what it was in case we wanted to apply. To be honest, at first I wasn’t so enthusiastic with the program. But my parents were able to convince me to send an application, and so I did. Now, two months have passed and I absolutely love the IA. We learn things that no other class has really taught, which is pretty exciting.
